Announcing the 2011 Streaming Media European Readers' Choice Awards Finalists
If the list of finalists in the 2011 Streaming Media European Readers' Choice Awards is any indication, 2011 has been a banner year for both established names and up-and-comers.
More than 4,000 readers submitted their votes in the awards, offering up their choices among the 281 nominees in 13 categories. The total number of votes was a whopping 14,377, meaning that, on average, each reader cast their vote in 3 or 4 categories.
Below is the list of finalists--the top three vote-getters in each category, in alphabetical order. We already know the winners, but you'll have to wait until we announce them at Streaming Media Europe in London later this month. We can't tell you anything more than that, other than to say you'll be in for some surprises!
