First Danish OTT Live TV Streaming Service with ExpressPlay Showcased at TV Connect London, Stand 26

mediathand, a technology provider with a fully hosted, end-to-end solution for international OTT live streaming on all platforms and flat screens, announced today that its latest customer solution for the new Danish TV company Watz Me Now OTT TV service is now integrated with the ExpressPlay™ cloud-based content protection system. ExpressPlay is the only content protection system on the market based on the open Marlin DRM standard with an included SDK and flexible pay-as-you-go pricing model.
mediathand's multi-featured OTT live TV solution is based on software-based cloud encoders with x264 codec, and is available on tablets and smartphones that support iOS and Android, and on Macs and Windows PCs. It is also available on flat screens in HD via mediathand's "Smart-Stick", a custom developed HDMI-dongle with the ExpressPlay™ SDK at its core. mediathand's platform supports UltraViolet-approved Marlin DRM technology on all of the above mentioned platforms. The integration with the ExpressPlay service and SDK was done in close cooperation with Intertrust®, co-founder of the Marlin DRM standard.
