Zixi Showcases Interoperable Live Video Workflows and Satellite Replacement Leadership at NAB 2026

Zixi, a leader in live video delivery and workflow orchestration, enables interoperable live video workflows across multi-vendor environments, helping broadcasters, sports organizations, digital platforms, and content owners avoid vendor lock-in and maint

Walham, MA(08 Apr 2026)

Zixi will present a series of live demonstrations and integrations both at its booth and in collaboration with key partners across the show floor. These demos will illustrate centralized control and orchestration, dynamic market switching for flexible real-time content distribution, end-to-end IP-based contribution and distribution workflows as scalable alternatives to satellite delivery, and seamless interoperability across partner ecosystems in real-world deployment scenarios.

In addition, Zixi will host AWS Builder Lab sessions where attendees can build an end-to-end broadcast pipeline in AWS using the Zixi Platform and ZEN Master, including deploying a broadcaster, ingesting content, creating distribution channels, building HLS workflows with AWS Media Services, and applying rights management controls. Registration details are available at https://zixi.com/zixi-aws-builder-lab-at-nab-26/.

Live Video Workflow Solution Areas Featured at NAB 2026:

Zixi’s demonstrations on its booth W2057 will highlight real-world workflows across the following areas:

Satellite Transition for Broadcasters

Reliable, cost-efficient IP-based alternatives to traditional satellite delivery, enabling migration of critical contribution and distribution workflows without sacrificing quality or resilience.

Satellite Transition for Sports Entities

Flexible, cloud-enabled workflows supporting live sports contribution and distribution, reducing dependency on satellite while improving scalability.

Ingest for Digital Platforms and vMVPDs

Aggregation, normalization, and processing of live feeds from multiple sources to ensure consistent, broadcast-quality inputs.

B2B Distribution for Content Owners

Secure, scalable distribution of workflows delivering live content to affiliates, partners, and platforms worldwide.

Live Event Contribution and Processing

End-to-end workflows for live event contribution, processing, and delivery with low latency, high reliability, and operational control.

This builds on recent industry analysis, including a Caretta Research white paper recently published examining the acceleration of satellite replacement strategies and the growing role of IP-based distribution. The report highlights key market drivers, including cost pressures, spectrum changes, and the need for more flexible, scalable delivery models. Satellite Replacement Leadership at NAB

Zixi will also play a central role in industry discussions around satellite replacement through participation in an executive breakfast session bringing together senior broadcasters and technology providers. The session will focus on real-world challenges, transition strategies, and emerging architectures as the industry shifts toward IP and cloud-based delivery.

More information on the Satellite Replacement Breakfast can be found here: https://wearehivegroup.com/future-of-satellite-replacement.

“The industry is moving quickly toward IP-based distribution as broadcasters reassess satellite and legacy delivery models,” said Marc Aldrich, CEO of Zixi. “At NAB 2026, Zixi will demonstrate how our platform supports the modernization and evolution of live video workflows that includes real-world satellite replacement strategies, enabling customers to deploy flexible, reliable, and interoperable workflows across hybrid environments.”

Throughout the show, Zixi experts will be available to discuss how organizations can design future-proof live video architectures that support hybrid on-prem, cloud, and network environments.
