The initiative enables the Streamstar Webcast line of encoding and production systems to publish video streams to the Octoshape Infinite HD-M Federated Linear Broadband TV Platform, an industry-first service that enables flat rate business models utilizing Multicast over broadband for high quality linear video delivery.
Recent events were successfully delivered via the joint solution including the Fight Explosion 2012 Thai Boxing Tournament, and the Red Bull Salute Trophy Hockey tournament, delivering high quality video streams to viewers around the world.

With the Infinite HD-M ‘flat rate per channel’ pricing model for linear channels, broadcasters can now deliver linear video with predictable and affordable economics.
