Rovi Launches DivX Stash at Mobile World Congress

New Service Enables Users to Create Personalized Collections of Video From Around the Web to Enjoy on Mobile Devices

BARCELONA, Spain(25 Feb 2013)

Rovi Corporation (Nasdaq:ROVI), driving digital
entertainment innovation, announced today that a beta version of its
new DivX(R) Stash service is now available to the general public. DivX
Stash enables users to personalize their online video experience while
simplifying the process of collecting, organizing and enjoying videos
from around the web on mobile devices (iOS and Android) and computers
(Safari, Chrome and Firefox).

According to Cisco's annual Visual Networking Index, the number of
Internet video users is expected to reach 1.5 billion by 2016, with
Internet video traffic estimated to account for 54 percent of all
consumer online traffic. This forecasted surge in Internet video
consumption is due to an increase in global Internet connections, as
well as the proliferation of web-connected devices such as smartphones,
tablets and connected TV devices.

"Internet video has been on the rise over the past 10 years and it's
not expected to slow down anytime soon," said Sebastian Braun,
director, Distribution & Analysis, Rovi Corporation. "With a seemingly
infinite number of Internet videos available from a vast number of
websites, it's becoming difficult for consumers to cut through the
clutter. DivX Stash is designed to alleviate the clutter and make the
online video experience far more personalized and enjoyable by allowing
consumers to build personal video playlists that can be enjoyed
anywhere."

DivX Stash supports a growing number of popular video websites,
including YouTube, Vimeo, Daily Motion, and TED Talks and provides
users with a destination to collect favorite content, organize it into
playlists, and then watch it on computers, tablets and smartphones.
Users can even access videos that are posted on their Facebook Timeline
and add them to DivX Stash quickly and seamlessly.

Rovi plans to add exciting new features and capabilities to DivX Stash
throughout 2013 and use the service to introduce new consumers to the
DivX brand, which is recognized by millions of consumers around the
world for delivering great video performance, visual quality, and
multi-screen interoperability. You may learn more about the service or
create a DivX Stash account at: https://stash.divx.com.
