Pinnaca Announces Partnership with Enterprise Video Leader Qumu to Accelerate Digital Transformation Strategies and Enhance Engagement

Partnership offers customers the opportunity to expand existing video conferencing applications into a comprehensive enterprise-wide video creation, management and distribution solution.

SLOUGH, Berkshire(11 Oct 2017)

Pinnaca, a leading provider of managed video conferencing, telepresence and visual collaboration services, has announced a partnership with Qumu (NASDAQ: QUMU), an enterprise video platform provider that helps create, manage, secure, distribute and measure live and on demand video content, to increase overall engagement and video adoption efforts for Pinnaca customers.

The partnership between Pinnaca and Qumu will allow the companies to offer comprehensive solutions that address three key business initiatives that CEOs and CIOs face today on a global scale. The first of these is employee engagement, which is enhanced due to expanded enterprise communication distribution and the empowerment of employees with easy to use tools for collaborative success. Second is customer engagement; with an improved video experience that is easy to access, customer engagement rates significantly increase. The final is digital transformation.  Qumu’s solution improves employee workflow integration and productivity while inspiring innovation and creativity.

“Partnering with Qumu increases our value proposition to our global customer base, as Qumu’s best-in-class, end-to-end, video technology helps address three strategic areas: employee engagement, customer engagement and digital transformation,” states Dan Tanel, CTO at Pinnaca. “Our customers are looking for integrated solutions and Qumu fits nicely into the Skype for Business and Pexip platforms.”

The Pinnaca-Qumu partnership will allow Skype for Business users to securely record, store, manage, search, stream and make video content available on any device. The Qumu solution enables a consistent, rich collaboration experience that improves employee productivity, simplifies knowledge transfer and optimizes video assets across the entire organization.

The Qumu software extension will also benefit Pinnaca customers running the Pexip collaboration platform by seamlessly integrating a recording button into the application so users can easily record, share, manage and stream video.

“The Qumu team is excited to partner with a premier global services organization, such as Pinnaca, that has a parallel vision of enabling a video collaboration culture for customers,” John Poole, Vice President, WW Channels and Alliances at Qumu. “The partnership will generate great exposure for Qumu’s technology solutions among large enterprise accounts across the globe.”
