Highwinds Extends its Content Delivery Network to Manila

Customer Demand for Game, Video and Ad Content Supports Infrastructure Growth

New York(16 Sep 2014)

Highwinds today announced the availability of its content delivery network (CDN) in Manila, Philippines. This new point of presence (PoP), which joins several other Highwinds PoPs in the APAC region, was quickly established at the request of customers. Highwinds’ Manila PoP is being used for the delivery of media, advertising and games, including content for the world’s largest online gaming platform.

“The speed at which we turned on Manila is a real tribute to our highly capable infrastructure team. Whether it’s a new PoP in Asia or Latin America or in our own backyard, the team is always efficient at responding to customer needs,” said Steve Miller, founder and CEO of Highwinds.

Advanced media companies, large ad networks and admired game publishers around the world continue to turn to Highwinds for the industry’s fastest CDN response times and highest CDN throughput rates as well as real-time analytics, self-service tools and live support operations.

“I believe we have a loyal and ever-growing customer base because of our ability to react and respond with speed and quality – in PoP installation, in network performance, in customer service, in everything we do,” said Miller.
