Groovy Gecko Launches Live Quiz Solution at BVE
London, UK(27 Feb 2019)
Groovy Gecko (http://www.groovygecko.com), the live streaming specialist, has launched a livestream quiz solution for Facebook Live, to be demonstrated at BVE 2019 in London this month.
Using the technology, Groovy Gecko recently streamed a live quiz for a beverage brand, driving audiences to enjoy better experiences and win prizes. With growth in the watch time of Facebook Lives increasing by more than 400% since its launch in 2016 the platform should not be underestimated.
The technology works across any Facebook Live as an alternative to using Facebook’s new gameshow technology. The mechanism behind the tech identifies correct answers, and can use viewers’ first or last answers, discounting further attempts, before randomly selecting a prize winner.
The competitions themselves can be as complex or as simple as required from single camera presenter led shows to concepts featuring complex graphics and video play-ins as part of a multicamera shoot.
Jake Ward, Business Development Director at Groovy Gecko said of the developments: “Audiences are becoming less and less engrossed by passive consumption of video content favouring more interactivity and opportunities to participate in their online experiences. Groovy Gecko will be demonstrating the latest technology available for live streaming at BVE 2019, on stand E56 in London’s Excel, 26th to 28th February.
