Aldea and Hibernia Media Come Together to Become a Powerful Global Provider of Video Transport

The companies have announced their intention to merge into one single video transport service provider

This merger will position the combined company as the single most powerful global provider of fiber-based video transport with the largest 100% QoS Media Service DTM network in the world.

The merger will offer many customer benefits including a wider geographic reach, with video transport services available across three continents. The combined network will connect high-value media destinations, reaching 28 countries and 75 cities, with 255 On-Net locations spanning Europe, North and South America. The entity will operate one of the world’s largest integrated video transport networks, making it a global leader in media transmission.

In addition, plans are underway to develop a broader range of video transport solutions to offer to their combined customers, further driving its competitive strengths in the marketplace. “Our primary commitment is to ensure a better video transmission experience for our clients,” states Lionel Bentolila, CEO of Aldea. “Not only are we expanding the breadth and depth of our integrated products, we are also enriching the overall customer experience and quality of service with streamlined solutions by a 100% customer-centric team.”
