Mixmoov, an online video editing company based in Aix en Provence, France, is launching an editor just for Brightcove Video Cloud customers. Visitors at the Business Video Expo in Miami, Florida, can get a first look at the Video Editor for Brightcove, which will become generally available in early March, 2012.

The editor lets Brightcove's customers edit their videos in the browser. They can import media from their Video Cloud account, online sites, social networks, or their desktop, then use a simple, intuitive editor to shape it. When finished, they can add their creations to their Video Cloud account or download them to their desktop.

"We are excited to expand our partnerships with leading online video platform providers through our new partnership with Brightcove. The Video Editor for Brightcove powered by Mixmoov will provide Video Cloud customers with access to a range of online video editing tools designed to streamline the video publishing workflow," says Ralph Pélamourgues, CEO of Mixmoov.

At the Business Video Expo, Mixmoov is also showing up the latest version of its flagship product, Mixmoov version 1.8. The upgrade offers improved media library management options and the ability to import from a Dropbox account. Those offering direct-to-consumer customer service with Mixmoov will appreciate the improved console.
