Streaming technology spent decades being built to get a broadcast-quality picture to as many screens as possible: one-to-many delivery, on schedule. But a fast-growing set of interactive use cases have a real-time streaming requirement - such as corporate events, townhalls, webinars, live auctions, live casino, and public meetings and hearings. I've spent more than a decade building for exactly those use cases, and what's become clear over that time is that these verticals need an end-to-end platform built for them: real-time interaction from the ground up, ultra-low latency, security, and full insight into performance, at global scale, with 100% uptime at the highest possible quality of service. 

And they need an experienced team behind that technology, one that listens to the market and evolves alongside its partners, bringing forward new protocols for fast streaming and higher interactivity, and capabilities like cloud-based chroma key for multi-branding streaming as the need for personalization becomes clear.

Once a protocol proves it can hold ultra-low latency steady under real network conditions, not lab conditions, it stops being only a delivery story. That's what opened the door to the live production side: compositing, branding, and virtual environments that used to require hardware on-site can now happen entirely server-side, from a single feed. Cloud-based chroma key exists today because the technology underneath it proved itself first.

For an operator running one physical setup across multiple markets or brands, that shift matters practically: a single feed can become several fully branded environments, adjusted live, without extra hardware or downtime.

Why infrastructure geography is now a strategic decision

There's a second story running alongside the technical one. Where the infrastructure sits, and whose jurisdiction it sits under. Operators running on European infrastructure aren't exposed to shifts in foreign policy, licensing terms, or ownership structures that sit entirely outside their jurisdiction.
