A pioneer and co-founder of Streamezzo, Cedric Gegout previously worked at Orange Labs on multimedia broadcasting technology and at Hercules & Thrustmaster SAS as Development Director in charge of the ultra-mobile notebook range. In 1998, he joined France Telecom R&D (now Orange Labs) and since then he has been managing several R&D projects in multimedia broadcasting. Cedric Gegout had been the initiator of the Rich Media mobile and has developed cutting-edge technologies to develop multimedia applications on mobile. He took part in the design and implementation of several R&D projects and to standardization efforts mobile multimedia technologies related to multimedia, streaming and mobile TV. Within the Hercules brand, Cedric Gegout has developed in 2008 the first French netbook, an innovative eCAFE mobile computer that offers a wide range of features and services at a very competitive cost. Cedric Gegout is a former student of the Ecole Normale Superieure, a graduate from the ENST and a doctor in computer sciences.
