Streaming Media Europe is the only event in Europe to cover both technology solutions and business models for online video. It’s getting harder and harder to stay on top of all the trends and technologies shaping online video, and Streaming Media Europe is the one conference and expo that covers the entire range, from encoding and transcoding, to corporate and marketing video, to over-the-top delivery.

Streaming Media Europe is a multi-faceted event, giving you everything you need to make sense of the options, strategies and opportunities available to your organisation.

Streaming Media Europe’s conference programme is focused squarely on the most important topics in online video, with an enhanced emphasis on presentations designed to offer attendees a deeper look at the issues that affect their businesses on a daily basis. We’re thrilled to welcome Samsung Europe’s Sidharth Jayant and the BBC’s Jane Weedon as our keynotes. And don’t miss presentations from Microsoft, Ericsson, Brighcove, Dailymotion, Channel 4, Adobe, Motorola, Juniper Networks, Rovi, Envivio, Thomson Reuters, Hewlett Packard and more!

You’ve been nominating and voting for the winners of Streaming Media’s EuropeanReaders’ Choice Awards throughout the summer. The winners will be announced at Streaming Media Europe’s drinks reception on Tuesday 16 October. Check the website for categories and voting details.

As for the rest of the programme, if you take a look at the agenda, you’ll notice a positive shift from previous years’ events. While we’ll still offer our fair share of panel discussions, bringing together industry experts to offer their insights into topics such as multiscreen delivery, social TV, second-screen viewing, and webcasting, the feedback from attendees has indicated less interest in ‘blue sky’ theorising and a desire for more practically-focused presentations.

Whatever your streaming interests and specialism, Streaming Media Europe is unique in its coverage of the entire spectrum of online video: in the office, on the move, and in the home. It's the only single event to examine all of these interconnected multi-channel technologies and make sense of the options, strategies and opportunities available to your organisation.
