Michel, 41, is an expert in the field of  mobile video technologies and today Managing Director of  Mobile Viewpoint. Before joining Mobile Viewpoint, Michel was a director of an R&D group within Cisco, former TANDBERG Telecom and TNO Telecom. In both companies he managed the development of a 3G-H324M Internet Video gateway and Portal. As a product manager he was involved in the actual deployment within European telecom operators and service providers.

Previously Michel was involved in, 3GPP MMS, streaming and H324M standardization, instrumental in the deployment of streaming services within the Dutch Mobile operator KPN.

Michel has a Master's Degree in Electronics from the Delft University of Technology in the Netherlands.
