Vimeo Launches Spanish Language Version; Others to Follow
Video-hosting site Vimeo has launched a Spanish translation. More translations will follow, says the company's CEO in this video report.

Vimeo, the video sharing site owned by IAC, has launched in Spanish and will expand into other native languages, says Kelly Trainor, Vimeo's CEO, in this interview with Beet.TV.

Vimeo currently gets two-thirds of its traffic from outside the United States, Trainor says.

In this interview, Trainor explains that Vimeo's business model includes display ads but no in-stream ads, subscriptions fees for premium versions of the site, and a music licensing business.

Vimeo launched introduced two revenue-creation features, Tip Jar and pay-to-view videos, on September 19.
