The 2012 Streaming Media European Readers' Choice Award Winners
With 15 categories, more than 300 nominations, and just under 14,000 votes, this year's Streaming Media European Readers' Choice Awards was our biggest yet, and—as per usual—not without its share of surprises.
Each year, these awards give us insight into which companies, products, and services are gaining market share and which ones are fading from use, because they’re decided by the people in the trenches: the readers of Streaming Media magazine who use these technologies day in and day out. We get vendor briefings and product demos all the time, but our readers really get a sense of what tools and technologies help them do their job better.
So think of the Readers’ Choice Awards as a much-needed reality check, one that cuts through the hype and gets at what works in the real world.
