Linius Video Virtualization Engine (VVE) to be tested in Australia with Warner Bros. films distributed to end users

New York(09 Feb 2018)

Linius Technologies Limited (ASX:LNU) today announces that it has signed a collaboration agreement with Warner Bros. Entertainment Inc. to conduct a technical pilot test in Australia of the Linius Video Virtualization Engine (VVE) in a transactional video on demand (“TVOD”) streaming and content platform that provides content protection through distribution to an end user.

Linius' technology platform will enable consumers to rent films for a limited period of time for viewing through a TVOD model using the Linius VVE for streaming those films as virtual videos.  Warner Bros. and Linius have agreed to collaborate on a pilot to test the streaming of certain selected Warner Bros. films over this platform using the Linius VVE.  The purpose of the pilot is to verify and validate a commercial use case for using Linius VVE.

The project is initially for the Australian market and will commence Q1 2018.
