SES Platform Services brings latest end-to-end solutions to ANGA COM 2016

Lincoln(31 May 2016)

SES Platform Services, a wholly-owned subsidiary of SES (Euronext Paris and Luxembourg Stock Exchange: SESG) and a leading European technical media service provider, will showcase new features of its innovative audio-visual products for the first time at this year’s ANGA COM.

Visitors to the booth – E15, Hall 10.2 – will have the opportunity to participate in hands-on testing of demo versions of the products and hear about the latest functionalities added. SES Platform Services will be co-located on a booth with HD + and ASTRA at ANGA COM which takes place at the fairgrounds in Cologne from Tuesday, 7 June to Thursday, 9 June.

Products on show will include SES Platform Services’ Fluid MAM, a cloud-based logistics solution which allows companies to manage, monitor and deliver video content across Internet and Video-on-Demand platforms (VoD).

"The way people watch TV has changed dramatically over the last few years which means the management of video content has become just as important for broadcasters,” said Sophie Lersch, Chief Product Officer at SES Platform Services. “Our service covers all related digital delivery processes, significantly simplifying the customer’s workflow. The latest version of Fluid MAM which we are taking to ANGA COM takes into account customer feedback and provides an even more streamlined experience of metadata handling. In addition, series formats are now included as a package, reflecting the fact that series are the main driver in the VoD business."

Other products due to be showcased include Lucid OVP, which combines linear TV streaming, catch-up TV and VoD in an online platform. The delivery of Ultra HD content will also be showcased at the booth.
