RAIDIX Looks Positively at Its Perspectives on the Korean CCTV Market

Partnerships with distributors of the major equipment manufacturers - exhibitors at SECON, will in the future allow offering an affordable solution for data storage systems based on RAIDIX (ODM's).

Russia(25 Mar 2013)

At the invitation of our partners at ITServices, RAIDIX specialists visited SECON – a trade show dedicated to technology and innovation in the security market. The event was held in early March in South Korea (http://www.seconexpo.com/).

Traditionally, Backup solutions were presented at the show, allowing RAIDIX to see the prospects for its product in the given target market segment.

The company estimates that the Korean market has a significant demand for CCTV, including high-performance systems, such as Hitachi and EMC, however only higher end products are widely represented here.

Partnerships with distributors of the major equipment manufacturers - exhibitors at SECON, will in the future allow offering an affordable solution for data storage systems based on RAIDIX (ODM's). According to the company experts, it will provide the biggest advantages for such solutions over the expensive products, because for the CCTV market the price sensitivity is more important than unique functionality (such as DATA Tiering, for example).

«RAIDIX platform-based data storage systems, armed with good performance and adapted to video processing, even in their basic configuration can become serious competitors on the CCTV market », said Victor Kruglikov, the RAIDIX APAC region Director of Business Development.
