ODmedia Taps ATEME TITAN KFE for Multi-Platform Content Production

Amsterdam, September 9th, 2011 - ODmedia and ATEME announced today their continued relationship and the recent upgrade of the ODmedia facilities with the latest KFE release. This enterprise-grade encoding software enables ODmedia to further expand its network of over 100 operators it delivers video content to.

ODmedia digitizes, archives, encodes/transcodes and distributes video content from numerous content owners and distributors to a continuously expanding group of over 100 telecoms and cable operators in more than 35 countries worldwide. It has been able to claim this unique position through its custom-built hardware and software workflow.

Tim Koeleman, CTO of ODmedia, commented "We pride ourselves in our ability to start delivering content to any cable or telecoms operator within a maximum of two weeks, and mostly even within a week. Our enterprise encoding platform is so flexible, that we can quickly and easily adapt to any specifications an operator may have."

"ATEME's KFE is an essential part of our architecture and helps us to transcode content completely on-spec with a very high-quality result. The latest software upgrades will help us to continue doing that with enhanced efficiency for the platforms we deliver to, and hopefully for many new ones as well."

KFE is part of the TITAN software transcoding family. KFE is a software solution enabling flexible multi-codec and multi-format file-based processing. It produces bandwidth efficient content for delivery to Internet, mobile and television. Full interoperability is ensured with various Set Top Boxes, Streaming Servers and handheld devices. Multi-level automation allows seamless integration into customer's workflows.

For more information about the services that ODmedia and/or ATEME can offer you, please do not hesitate to contact us to schedule a meeting during IBC 2011, September 8 - 13.
