KulaByte Announces Over $4 Million in Pre-Order Sales

Amsterdam -- IBC 2006(9/11/2006) -

Kula Media Group, Inc announced today that after 3 days of demonstrations at the IBC Show in Amsterdam, it has secured pre-orders of over 4 million dollars for its KulaByte encoding solutions. Broadcast and professional encoding companies from Asia, Europe, the United States, Africa and the Middle East have come forward to place orders and sign up for test encoders, which will be available in late October.

?We have been overwhelmed with requests from all channels of the
industry,? says Chris Gottschalk, Chairman, Kula Media Group. ?The
market demand for a value priced, high quality, low bandwidth,
faster-than-real time encoding and streaming solution is clear. We have
had numerous requests from respected middleware suppliers, and product
integrators, to license our unique software for inclusion in their own
product lines. With unbeatable encoding speeds and live 2 Pass and 4
pass VBR qualities KulaByte can outperform solutions priced 10 times
as much.?

First unveiled at the 2005 IBC show in Amsterdam, the KulaByte
technology demonstrated its capability to take full advantage of multi
core technology to enable increased speed. Additionally, the KulaByte
encoding process increases video quality and reduces bandwidth
consumption of streaming video over various encoding platforms to
include H.264, On2?s VP6 / Adobe Flash 8, Microsoft?s WM9, MPEG-4,
MPEG-2, JPEG2000 and VC1.

With KulaByte speed tests prove that encoding times are up to 16x
faster than standard encoding methods for SD and HD video. All
KulaByte^TM products achieve increased qualities and reduced bandwidth
consumption of streaming video up to 30%.

KulaByte products will feature live 2-Pass and 4-pass VBR encoding.
KulaByte is the only streaming solution that allows for live 2-Pass
VBR due to it?s patent pending TimeSlicing technology. Live
broadcasting at, and beyond video on-demand qualities is now a reality
with KulaByte .
