IBC 2022 - Videomenthe unveils new features of its Eolementhe© solution: organisation management, QC in the cloud and online editing

Videomenthe, a leading provider of media processing software solutions, is presenting at IBC the latest additions to Eolementhe©, its collaborative media workflow platform.

Montpellier, France(11 Jul 2022)

Eolementhe enables the processing and delivery of media files through an extremely intuitive and easy-to-use interface, which integrates several file processing functions (transcoding, quality control, audio level analysis and correction, technical and editorial metadata creation, speech-to-text, subtitle insertion, Artificial Intelligence, video editing, etc.). The combination of automated tools and human actions makes Eolementhe a simple, fast and efficient solution for the delivery of ready-to-broadcast files.

"The DNA of Eolementhe is the simplicity of use by all types of users, whatever their profile, technical or not. With this in mind, we have been working on new features and business models to offer greater flexibility to our customers and make their media processing more fluid," explains Muriel Le Bellac, Videomenthe CEO.

New collaborative working features
Collaborative work is one of the strengths of the Eolementhe solution. Videomenthe has developed new functionalities, directly resulting from its customers' feedback:
- Organization and team management, offering managers a very precise follow-up of the work done and the consumption on the platform (statistics by user, team, organization);
- An overhaul of user management, allowing specific roles and rights to be assigned and facilitating collaborative work;
- Double validation on a workflow step. For example, at a subtitling stage, a reviewer corrects the subtitle and then has it validated by a manager.

Global subtitle review service
The distribution of multilingual content is growing, and with it the need to produce professional subtitled videos in several languages at an attractive cost.
To meet this need, Videomenthe offers a comprehensive service, including the Eolementhe© platform and experienced professional translators. This service offers speed of execution thanks to the automated tools driven by Eolementhe©, which generate subtitles in 120 languages, and quality results thanks to our partners who intervene to revise the content, directly on the platform.

"This new service responds to several issues raised by our clients: obtaining quality subtitles, within a given timeframe, and in languages that they do not necessarily master internally. Another advantage is the fact that we work in collaborative mode on a single platform, which avoids time-consuming and error-prone exchanges by email, telephone and various digital tools," adds Muriel Le Bellac.

EoleEdit, the easy, fast and affordable web-based video editing solution

Eolementhe integrates a new simplified online editing function, EoleEdit, which allows users to prepare their content (cut, add logos, image, sound, text, transitions...) before processing it in Eolementhe©, to add subtitles for example.

Quality control in the cloud in PAYG
Eolementhe includes a Quality Control function to check the conformity of the files but also the audio and video quality of the media.
What's new is that the QC function in the cloud is now available via a brand new business model, cost per minute, to offer maximum flexibility!

"We are continuing to develop in line with our broadcast DNA, but with a desire to make our Eolementhe platform more accessible to meet the growing use of video, particularly for communication and training. Offering a simplified version of our solution is our way of making professional video tools available to everyone," concludes Muriel Le Bellac.
