It's getting harder and harder to stay on top of all of the trends and technologies shaping online video, and Streaming Media Europe is the only
conference that covers the entire gamut, from encoding and transcoding to corporate and marketing video to over-the-top delivery. And, as always,
we can't cover it all without your help, so I'm pleased to announce that the Call for Speakers for Streaming Media Europe 2012—including the
Content Delivery Summit—is now open.
This year's event will be a bit different from years past. In addition to paper presentations, how-to sessions, panel discussions, and end-user case
studies, we'll also be presenting several round table focus sessions that will offer high-level insights into the most important challenges and
opportunities facing the online video industry today. In particular, we're looking for speakers who can share their expertise on the following
topics:
- HTML5 Video
- MPEG DASH
- The Connected Home
- Adaptive Streaming
- Live Webcasting
- Monetisation
- Multiscreen Delivery
- Content Commissioning, Creation, and Licensing
Have something to share on these or any other hot online video topics?
Submit your proposal no later than April 13, and contact me directly
if you have any questions.
