miniCASTER® offers a whole product family of innovative IP-based solutions for the streaming and broadcasting industry. Started with the award-winning miniCASTER® in 2011, a pocket sized H.264 live encoder for analog, SDI or HDMI® signal sources, the german-based company completed its line of products with auto-pointing satellite systems (fly-away or car units) for guaranteed upload bandwith in Europe and recently launched its SDI receiver. The system can be upgraded to max 4 SDI outputs, transcoding and relaying functions. The relaying feature allows the forwarding of the incoming signal to an unlimited number of receivers - your solution at hand if you have multiple receiving ends at different locations.
Product Description
miniCASTER® is a truly mobile hardware based full HD H.264 live encoder that converts any camera or video source signal into an IP based livestream and delivers it via landline, WiFi, satellite or cellular networks to the leading Content Delivery Networks and video platforms. Through a built-in lithium battery it is possible to work stand-alone. miniCASTER® generates one HD and one SD Stream in parallel and is able to record on SD-Card in the device itself at the same time. The mobile live encoder in pocket size comes in three different versions (SD/HD, Composite, HDMI) and can be operated in real-time via a web-based remote management portal.
