Vünder Sports Network to Launch Services Powered by CodecSys

New OTT Service to Broadcast Global Sports Content to International Audience

Salt Lake City, Utah(29 Nov 2012)

Broadcast International (OTCQB : BCST) has been selected by Vünder Sports Network to deploy CodecSys as the core platform for its Over-The-Top sports network. The three year agreement includes a revenue share between the companies, estimated to be more than $500,000 over the life of the contract.

Vünder Sports Network is a global broadcasting company with exclusive rights to niche-sports programming.  Subscribers can access live and previously recorded events, as well as adventure sports programming.  Vünder has distribution rights to extreme and popular international sports including rugby, skiing, snowboarding, motocross, surfing and a host of other related content.

“There is a tremendous market opportunity to bring global sports content to targeted audiences around the world,” commented Matt Wunderli, CEO of Vünder Sports. “We aim to meet the growing demand for alternative sports programming by enabling fans of international sports to follow their favorite teams and sports that are not otherwise available. Our goal is to bring internationally popular sports to the local fan no matter where they live in the world”

“The CodecSys transcoding platform will provide the Vünder Sports Network with broadcast quality content at low bandwidth across multiple platforms including mobile devices,” said Steve Jones, General Manager of the Video Software Division at Broadcast International. “Utilizing the CodecSys transcoding technology allows Vünder to distribute its high-value content across its IP-based networks throughout the world more efficiently and cost effectively. This agreement gives us the flexibility to share in the rapid revenue growth of our customers”
