NTT Europe and new partner Flumotion to offer state-of-the-art streaming services
NTT Europe, an ICT solutions partner, and Flumotion, a leader in innovative streaming technology and services, today jointly announce a strategic partnership to provide advanced multimedia streaming services to enterprise customers throughout Europe.

By deploying Flumotion's multi-format streaming technology on NTT Europe's European Tier 1 backbone network, the two companies will provide integrated solutions for both live and on-demand video and audio, which customers will use to implement streaming-based digital business. NTT Europe's next-generation content-delivery network ensures secure, reliable and seamless distribution of digital content to end users on a scalable, highly flexible and 24/7/365 managed platform using parent company NTT Communications' Tier 1 network infrastructure and world-class data centres.
NTT Europe's new Smart Media Delivery services will be combined with Flumotion's WebTV service in highly customisable and interactive solutions. Advanced streaming features will include multi-camera players, visual seeking, time shifting and contextual commenting. Solutions will cover the entire streaming value chain, including signal acquisition, encoding, multi-format transcoding, content delivery, Advanced Advertising Module, Media BackOffice and customised interface design. The state-of-the-art interface design, which can be customised to the clients' brand, content and target audience, creates optimised, innovative user experiences to increase both viewership and advertising revenues. WebTV helps to build loyalty and communities around the content and brand.
