Missguided partners with Simplestream for Nicole Scherzinger’s first ever fashion collection

Simplestream has been selected by online fashion store Missguided to manage all of their video content, kicking off with the launch of Nicole X Missguided, an exclusive collaboration with global pop star Nicole Scherzinger.

Simplestream has been selected by online fashion store Missguided to manage all of their video content, kicking off with the launch of Nicole X Missguided, an exclusive collaboration with global pop star Nicole Scherzinger.

Nicole X Missguided is the first ever fashion range from the singer and former X Factor judge. Nicole partnered with the Missguided design team to create the 30-piece collection, which received great feedback from both press and bloggers when previewed at the brand’s recent press day.

Simplestream built an interactive video player which has the ability to stream the TV advert and features a smouldering Nicole in a range of signature bodycon dresses, striking jumpsuits and sporty separates. The player has been designed so that the user is able to browse through the outfits that Nicole wears within the video, together with the option to ‘click to buy’ the outfit directly through missguided.co.uk. Simplestream’s Media Manager technology is used to host the video content appearing in the VOD player, which features behind-the-scenes content from the Nicole X Missguided campaign.

Nicki Capstick, Senior Marketing Executive of Missguided said, “We’re really excited to be working with Simplestream for the Nicole X Missguided project – video is a huge part of our strategy for 2014 and Simplestream has been able to provide us with a bespoke media player which allows us to increase engagement with our young female audience.

The Nicole X Missguided collection launches on Tuesday 11 March 2014 and is available exclusively at Missguided.co.uk. Prices range from £15 – £50.
