Groovy Gecko is conducting a survey of the production industry, in an ongoing endeavour to better understand what production companies and their clients need from a Webcast Studio, and Live and On-demand hosting services.
In the last ten years, there has been a major shift in video production and the way in which video is consumed. The survey aims to understand the challenges that presents for production companies, having to deal with a whole array of additional tools and with it different platforms, formats and delivery channels.
"The production industry is constantly trying to stay abreast of new technologies on the one hand, and coming to terms with understanding on-line video and the impact of social media on the other," commented Craig Moehl, CEO, Groovy Gecko. "More and more their services are being perceived as a commodity and it's becoming increasingly difficult to for them to differentiate themselves amongst their peers. At the same time they need to avoid becoming simply a commodity. "
The results of the survey will enable Groovy Gecko to provide fine tuned products and services to production company partners who wish to buck the trend of the "commodity perception" and add-value to their customers. Groovy Gecko seeks to help them integrate online video as a natural element of their workflow.
Production companies completing the survey will be in for a chance to win an iPad. For more information or to complete the survey visit: http://www.groovygecko.com/products-and-services/info/productionpartners
