ClearSight Networks Announced First Real Time Triple Play Network Monitor and Analyzer That Includes Support For IPTV

IT Administrators Empowered to Identify and Remedy Slowdowns and Sluggishness in Networking Environments that Include Data, Telephony and Entertainment Resources
Fremont, CA(9/22/2006) -

ClearSight Networks, the originator of real-time application and network analysis and specializing in VoIP monitoring and analysis, announced today that it has enhanced the newest version of its ClearSight Network Analyzer to provide first-to-market Triple Play support in real time. The company will be demonstrating ClearSight Analyzer 6.0 at the Interop conference and exposition in New York from September 19th to 27th at Booth #368 in the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York.

"Version 6.0 of ClearSight Analyzer significantly raises the bar for real-time monitoring and analysis tools," said Masaru Gomi, president and chief executive officer of ClearSight Networks. "In today's networking environments, the ability to effectively and consistently manage multiple environments has become critical. ClearSight Analyzer now incorporates Triple Play in real time, including patent-pending video analysis and support for IPTV flows and analysis. This is a tremendous leap for those charged with supporting provider or enterprise networks."

Version 6.0 adds Triple Play network monitoring to the standard product at no additional cost. Now, administrators can track and troubleshoot the full-breadth of network resources, including data, telephony and entertainment/IPTV resources. Other enhancements include additional reporting capabilities and patent-pending algorithms for measuring the video quality being delivered over the network.

ClearSight Analyzer takes network monitoring and analysis to an entirely new level by allowing users providing real-time information about the application, network and physical layers of the network to empower users to accurately identify the source of network bottlenecks and thieves. The simple and richly-graphical user interface lets IT administrators monitor network activity in order to solve problems quickly and intuitively. The tool provides immediate results since it allows administrators to troubleshoot sophisticated and complex networks immediately without additional training.

ClearSight's Analyzer has garnered broad attention from industry-leading organizations and publications, including Network Computing magazine's Well-Connected Award, Frost & Sullivan's 2006 Technology Innovation of the Year Award and Network World magazine's "Best of the Tested."

The new version will be available in mid-November, 2006. For more information about ClearSight or any of its products, or to download a fully-functional, 14-day trial of ClearSight's software, visit the company's Web site at http://www.clearsightnet.com.
