CasterStats 2.0: The next generation Audience Analytics tool for Streaming Media

TouchCast SA announces the release of CasterStats 2.0 at the IBC show in Amsterdam today. CasterStats, first released earlier this year at the NAB show in Las Vegas has quickly won a firm following amongst broadcasters. As well as giving broadcasters instant access to information about when and where their audiences are listening, CasterStats also provides valuable information on the players that audiences are using and provides a monitoring service for the station infrastructure.

The new features in CasterStats 2.0 include:

  • Support for Wowza Media Server and Generic W3C logging, in addition to ShoutCast, IceCast and Windows Media

  • New technical reports eg on uptime and capacity

  • New Media reports to help analyse advertising and media exposure on the streams

  • All reports can be filtered by country and channel as well as providing a comparison over time

  • A completely redesigned dashboard with new components including analogue clock, digital display, gauges, connections/deconnections graph and much more

TouchCast are also releasing CasterStats On Demand. Broadcasters will be able to subscribe to this audience analytics service online without having to worry about installing or updating software.

TouchCast also licenses its technology to stream hosting providers who want to provide a detailed audience measurement service to their customers.

CasterStats are exhibiting at the IBC in Amsterdam and can be found at D29 in the IPTV Pavilion in Hall 9.
