Accordent Showcases New Multimedia Presentation Creation and Management Capabilities at NAB

Highlights Include Silverlight Support, Video Podcasting and Enhanced Tracking & Reporting using the Accordent Media Management System
Las Vegas - NAB 2008(4/11/2008) - Accordent Technologies, Inc.(NAB Booth C3151), will unveil the newest versions of its award-winning capture solution - the Accordent Capture Station? 4.1, and multimedia presentation management system - the Accordent Media Management System? 2.2 (AMMS), with ground-breaking features that address the industry?s most in-demand formats, workflows and applications.

The new capabilities on display at NAB give clients the flexibility to use their Accordent rich media communications suite to reach even wider audiences via new format support and enhancements to the AMMS that enable clients to extend the system?s viewer tracking and reporting capabilities to one-time guests for externally facing webcasts.

Among the new features to be demonstrated at NAB are:
? Flash support ? which enables presenters to encode presentations into the widely used Flash media format and enjoy all of the same preview and publish functionality supported with other media types;
?Microsoft Silverlight ? which enables presenters to reach the broadest possible audience by supporting the Silverlight cross-platform, cross-browser plug-in;
? Video podcasting ? which enables customers to encode presentations, including synchronized video and graphics, into the MPEG-4 (H.264) format for use with iTunes;
? Shared networked skins ? which enable Accordent clients to share customized presentation skins throughout an organization;
?HD support ? which enables clients to capture, encode and play out HD video or HD-projected visuals in the 16x9 resolution required by HD-enabled LCD and plasma screens;
? RSS feeds ? which allows viewers to be automatically notified about new content using any RSS feed reader without needing to logon to the AMMS portal;
? Category-based reporting ? which helps administrators/content managers better understand how categories of content are being viewed and, on a category by category basis, what is working best or is most popular;
? ?One-time? tracking ? which enables presenters to reach and track "one time" invitees ? such as for marketing or promotional webinars to public audiences ? without compromising portal security or losing tracking capabilities;
Location-based routing ? which helps large customers with multiple servers to distribute content intelligently and ensure that viewers consume content from the optimal physical location;
AMMS and TANDBERG Content Server (TCS) integration ? which enables joint TCS and AMMS clients to manage, secure and track archived videoconference files through the AMMS;
Accordent Capture Station ? Mobile Edition ? a new, highly portable mobile form factor for Accordent?s award-winning capture appliance that enables clients to easily share live or on-demand webcasting capabilities among facilities and departments.

?We?ve watched the volume and sophistication of our clients? multimedia communications programs grow to now include public-facing applications such as marketing, recruiting and training manufacturers? representatives,? said Mike Newman, CEO of Accordent Technologies. ?The new capabilities we?re unveiling at NAB respond to this demand, enabling our clients not only to create content for new media players, applications and devices, but to also measure and understand how audiences inside and outside of their organizations are receiving their messages.?
