Director of Sales-Content Direct
Central London
Job Description:

Based in Central London, CSG Media has established an office to serve the UK and broader EMEA market.  Content Direct, CSG Media’s flagship solution, is used by the top movie studios, sports networks, content aggregators and resellers to sell and distribute premium content to their customers.

To help drive this rapid expansion, CSG is seeking the top Sales executives in the digital media & entertainment industry to drive this this effort.

This is an incredible opportunity for the right candidate and includes the following responsibilities.

  • Top tier new sales development, account list creation and overall territory including: prospecting, selling, and developing key relationships at senior levels to effectively build and maintain territory and revenue
  • Conduct client/prospect sales meetings and presentations designed to aggressively and professionally move the sales process towards agreement
  • Assist in the development of the annual sales plan in support of organizational strategy
  • Work with internal team to develop and implement existing account strategies
  • Make recommendations and develop actionable items to senior management to improve client satisfaction
  • Partner with sales team on strategic initiatives and future opportunities
  • Demonstrate product to prospective clients and address any questions or concerns
  • Monitor and report on Sales activities and provide relevant management information
  • Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in Sales focused on video content distribution
  • Deep prospect list and relationships with Digital Media executives in UK and EMEA
  • Keen ability to determine develop opportunities within the digital media and entertainment sector
  • Solid understanding of the internet distribution marketplace, specifically pay and advertising models
  • Technical ability with a passion for sales and marketing
  • Strong desire to work in a fast paced, quickly changing environment
  • Self-motivated and self-managing
  • Effective analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task and be highly organized in a fast-paced, ever changing environment
  • Strong verbal and written to communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and within the team concept as well
  • Willingness to travel up to 60%
  • Pay TV(Cable & Satellite), Broadcast Networks, Retail for Digital Media experience highly desired
