Interxion Welcomes ChinaCache to Its Highly-Connected Frankfurt Data Center's Content Hub

Interxion's Frankfurt campus provides ChinaCache connectivity to expand European footprint

INTERXION HOLDING NV (NYSE: INXN), a leading European provider of carrier-neutral colocation data center services, today announced that ChinaCache International Holdings Ltd. (ChinaCache) (Nasdaq: CCIH), the leading total solutions provider of Internet content and application delivery services in China, has selected the Content Hub in Interxion's Frankfurt data center to colocate its content delivery network (CDN). As the premiere CDN provider in China, ChinaCache's presence in Interxion's data center extends the company's international presence and provides other Interxion customers with direct access to Chinese content.

The rapid growth of the digital media industry is driving an uptick in customer expectations for high quality of experience. In response to these growing demands, content providers like ChinaCache are increasingly under pressure to deliver the best quality content to end users with high availalability and optimal performance. In order to stay competitive and accomodate the rising number of European companies seeking to access data and applications from China, ChinaCache knew it needed to colocate in Interxion's carrier-neutral data center at  its Frankfurt  campus. ChinaCache can now benefit from Interxion's data center, which will manage ChinaCache's content aggregation and distribution and is able to provide improved availability, scalability and flexibility of its IT infrastructure.

Interxion's Frankfurt data center gives access to more than 150 carriers and ISPs and houses the core infrastructure of the DE-CIX, the world's largest Internet exchange in terms of peak traffic. With this direct connectivity and interconnection with a large and growing digital media community, ChinaCache can expand its coverage to more European countries as well as improve its overall availability and performance.
