Deutsche Telekom provides LiveStream Perform to Ten Sports for its live streaming needs in Pakistan

Deutsche Telekom provides LiveStream Perform to Ten Sports. One of Asia's leading sports networks relies on LiveStream Perform for its secure, end-to-end, Over The Top (OTT) distribution of the Ten Sports channel in Pakistan.

Business Development and Innovation (BDI), a unit of Deutsche Telekom, announced today that Ten Sports has selected BDI’s LiveStream Perform, powered by Octoshape. The cloud-based video streaming solution will be leveraged for the live streaming of the Ten Sports channel in Pakistan on web and mobile devices.

Ten Sports, headquartered in Noida, New Delhi is one of Asia's leading sports network and owns long-term broadcast rights for cricket, offering its viewers the best of sports action round-the-clock. It's owned by Zee Entertainment, the 2nd largest Indian media and entertainment company, and is available across the world directly or through channel partners, entertaining over 670 million viewers across 170 countries.

Enabled for online playback in Pakistan, the Ten Sports channel will now be available on multiple screens in HD quality: Web, iOS and Android mobile applications. Ten Sports has chosen LiveStream Perform’s acceleration technologies for live streaming of its TV channel.
