FRANCE 24 expands to brand new regions with Yamgo Mobile TV

The number one French news channel, France 24, has signed a deal with Yamgo TV to distribute the latest headlines and breaking news to viewers around the globe via mobile devices and computers.

FRANCE 24 has just secured a major new distribution deal with Mobile TV network Yamgo. Announced today, the new agreement will bring the live broadcast of FRANCE 24,English version, to millions of Yamgo viewers worldwide, opening up FRANCE 24’s content to brand new audiences.

Speaking about the deal, FRANCE 24 Head of Distribution, Eric Cremer said, “I am really delighted to announce this new deal with Yamgo. For us, it is always important to ensure that we are present on all the new distribution platforms such as Yamgo and this new agreement means another phase of our multi-platform worldwide expansion”.

Building on their existing distribution network, FRANCE 24 will make full use of Yamgo’s proprietary Mobile Television delivery platform to stream content to any Internet-enabled mobile or tablet device worldwide using 2.5G, 3G and Wi-Fi connections.

One of the world’s leading international news channels, FRANCE 24 gives a French perspective to international current events through diversity of opinions, debate and confrontation of viewpoints. The channel provides keys to understanding ever more complex events through in-depth analysis.
